• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

16:10 1920x1200 monitors like the BL2411PT are almost the same size as a 27" 16:9 monitors and the BL2411PT offers more resolution (more pixel real-estate) as well as better all around performance than any 1080p 27."

Quality wise 400-500$ limits you to 27" 2560x1440 monitors like the HP ZR2740W (check the [H]ot Deals thread) or monitors from Ebay like the Qnix QX2710 or Crossover AMG series.

Crossover 2755AMG Review (nearly finished, has info about the other models)

The Dell U2713HM can be purchased for around 550$ but it is plagued by defects and issues most displays lack and suffers from the normal quality control issues (pixel issues and back-light bleeding). The Asus PB278Q also goes on sale but it uses LED PWM Dimming (Side Effects) which makes the HP ZR2740W a better choice.
