Recommendation for Virtual Surround on Headset

check out Corsair HS1 Virtual Surround Sound USB.They are really good.I have mine for about 6 months untill now they still working as just fine.
 
Are they as good as the 1500's? I'm looking at those as well. Any recommendations for a sound card?
