I'm looking at getting a new system soon at which point I'm going to need to upgrade to a PSU with a 24 pin.
The PSU will be running an X2, your normal array of optical and hd drives, a 12v pump, and lets just say for safety 2 high end video cards.
As can be seen by my profile, I'm goin to be planning on doing some OC'ing so voltage stability and modification are somewhat important. I've been reading up, and I'm really not sure which PSU to get at this point. I'll want something that is SLI capable, 24 pin, at least 500+ watts, and at or under ~$150 (pcp&c would be nice, but I really have a hard time justifying the cost).
The seasonic s12 600w looks good, but the lack of adjustable pots inside or outside the psu disuades me slightly.
The newer Antec truecontrol 2.0's seem decent, but most reviews I've read show voltage fluctuations that are higher than other PSU's on the market.
Anyway, any recommendations I can get would be great. If I'm demanding too much at too low a price, let me know. I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay more.
