I need recommendations on a wireless access point for a small business.
Only gonna be running two wireless devices, but I need something
very reliable and built with enterprise in mind, such as Cisco.
It will not be used as a DHCP server and I only need range to cover a 1,500 sq ft office.
Budget Limit: $600
I'm leaning toward buying a Cisco product, but I would like some feedback on which A/P is the best and best bang for the buck.

Thanks for any help ;)

We just rolled out Cisco 1240's in our place. Coupled with a nice 5dBi (I think) omni they are awesome.

I have implemented several Cisco WLANs using the 4400 series controllers. It is one of the best business class wireless systems available. They are fairly easy to set up and pretty much take care of them selves after word. I definitely would recommend the Cisco solution. The biggest draw back to Cisco is price.

A note about the linked LWAPP: It requires a controller to run. Something along the lines of a 2106. If you aren't going to use a WLAN controller, you'll need the regular WAPP.

I have had a lot of luck with Cisco's 1131abg autonomous APs for small offices. The range is great with the built-in omni's and the price is good, too. Plus, you can upgrade them to LWAPP mode if you decide to get a controller and expand down the road.
