Recommend SATA PCI Card

Can someone recommend a trustworthy, yet inexpensive, PCI SATA add on card?

I need to add SATA capabilities to an older board for a friend.

The ones on newegg seem a bit flaky, reviews swing all over the place.

Highpoint tech cards are probably a good starting place.

Had lots of ABIT boards with their raid controller chipset with no issues. CPU usage will be high if you use it for RAID5, but plenty fast for striping/mirroring or just single drives.

I have this and works pretty well in Able but hopefully will be upgrading to a Highpoint 2240 so I can minimize my cabling with more than enough spots on it to upgrade in the future.
