Hi,
I want to use my webcam as a security cam when I am not home and record video when motion is detected. I've been trying to find some free/open source software with features like; schedule (i.e. so recording is only enabled between 8am - 5pm etc), recording timeout (record for x mins after motion detected etc), camera controls (contrast etc) and recording compression settings (raw, compressed avi, mpg)
I've tried a few that aren't very good, either don't detect motion well, or record massive file sizes for 320x240 video.
Anyone got any suggestions? Free or not, I don't mind paying if it was a trial period first and works well.
