So I'm looking for a good pair of MP3 player headphones, in ear of some sort. The only thing is it has to be available at best buy, in store not online. I know that severely limits my options, especially for some high quality stuff, but I'd just like to get a good idea of what the general consensus is for a good pair. I don't want to go that much over $100, but don't let that stop you from at least suggesting.

well thats the reason. As a bestbuy employee I get a good amount of savings on nearly everything, including headphones. Thats why I'm willing to go somewhat over $100, because I'll be able to (hopefully) get it for cheaper anyways.

JVC HA-FX55
Shure SE110, 210, 410, 530, etc.

What's the reason you can only get it in stores from bestbuy? I was severely limited by not having a credit card of my own and my mom's were always maxed out. You can go to a local supermarket location with coinstar (mine is Ralphs) and get an amazon.com gift card from there. Just enter the code when you want to make a purchase.

Edit: ack i should read more than the first post

just get shures the only alternatives are sony and bose and they both suck ass for the money (theres good sonys out there but bestbuy sure as hell dont carry them)

The only pair I was interested in at best buy were those $100 shures, but I figured I'd check to see if there might be anything else that people liked.

Yeah I'm beginning to think its probably worth the (probably) slight difference in price and just going through a place online and grabbing a real nice pair for a fairly reasonable price. I'm still open to suggestions.

read bold.

Shure only makes in-ear phones and they do it very well. i think grado might have a simlar pair to the $100 set and is worth a look.

fyi usually your best buy discount is still more than newegg or other etailers...unless you go through vendor accommodations and get them 50% off direct from MFG. Shure usually has these types of deals to retail store employees.
