Recommend me a small-factor camera for below $350...

These were the ones I was looking at, but feel free to recommend me something else

I'm not looking for SLR type, just something that takes clear photos and will last a long time. I don't want a $150 camera, either... I'm willing to spend $300+ if it means good quality... thanks!

This is the last point-and-shoot i owned, PowerShot A650 - great little camera. for some reason, i thought i remembered it being around $300, but apparently either it's gone up, or i have no memory. or both.

Out of the ones listed above, I'd say the SD990IS looks pretty good. That's a ridiculously large image size for any current generation digital camera, but hey, who doesn't love a little overkill every now and then.

The A650 looks a little too bulky... the only bulky camera I would consider is this:

Obviously it's a lot more bulky and a lot more expensive, but I either want really small or REALLY good

But yeah, the SD990IS looks good... but, I'm leaning more towards the 950 Titanium, unless someone else has some useful input.

$250 or so is the Panasonic tz5; there is the thread in this forum fz28;

Just mentioning because I have a way-lesser Panasonic and I think it
is easy to use. The one I would like to mention, is buried in a stack of
post-it notes I don't have time to read... and had a favorable Amazon review.

You're probably thinking of the A560, the A650 is pretty new....
