Not sure if this is the right place to post this but what is a good, easy to use Windows theme program? I've seen a lot and just wanted to hear some opinions instead of spending hours trying them out one by one.

So, WindowBlinds? RocketDock? AstonShell? Something else?

Thanks

I use windowblinds, but if you want the full version you'll have to pay for it. 20 bucks isn't very much though, and I like it. You can also go the free route and use visual styles and a uxtheme patcher to apply styles yourself, but this can be slightly more complicated. What exactly are you trying to change? Just the windows visual style, or are you trying to add new functionality?

If you're looking for skins, there's really only two choices. Windowsblinds or Visual style/msstyles (which can be done with or without programs.) Which you use should depend on what themes are available and what you like. I personally don't like using windowsblinds because most of the time I don't like the themes that are out for it.

Also, changing your shell is rather easy and more often than not you'll find a visual style that matches it. Personally, I'm fond of Litestep (http://www.litestep.net/) and Blackbox (http://www.bb4win.org/news.php)

Docks don't affect/aren't affected by the visual styles or different shells so you can use those however you want.

I'm just looking to change the visual style of Windows XP. This theme for AstonShell really caught my eye. I like the clean and simplicity of it, but it doesn't support widescreen resolutions. Can Windowblinds do something like that?

It should be independent of resolution o_O

That screenshot is pretty small, but you could do that fairly easily. Visual style, samurize, rainlendar, a coulpe widgets and something like litestep. Though I don't see why that specific one doesn't support widescreen. Have you actually tried it?
