Recommend me a silent PSU...

As it states in the title...

I have been away from the scene for quite some time and I now need a reliable, silent PSU for a comp. I would also like if it had temperature sensitive fans. I building on for my mother-in-law. I would guess 400 watts being the max as it will be used for standard family things. No hardcore gaming of any sort. While were at it what cheap Mid-tower case would you deposit it in?

I was trolling around Newegg and I know what I want but I want opinions as well as user experience.

I want the total cost for the PSU & Case to be under $75 if possible.

dose it noth bother anyone that the s12 only has 8a and one line and 14a on the other 12v line?

PSU dosen seem liek somethign i would ever go cheap on...

EDIT, well i guss for a standard PSU, nothin fancy, it look to be a good buy

$63, reliability is great with them, and the specs quite a bit better... I like fortons as well

I expecially use good PSU when building for other peopl, even more so for family members. Sure ill use a cheapy in my servers at home, but when it comes to people that pay me to build boxes i dont want a cheap PSU going out on them 2 years from now, and takeing there hardware with it. And yes I still get calls from people i built computer for over 2 years ago, asking for OS reinstalls and what not...they still love ther computers...lol... funny thing is, the computer i built them 2 years ago for 800 bucks still runs better that the $500 dells they sell now.

Which is why we recommended seasonic psu's.

Sorry I let this thread get away from me...

The first looks good, as it is well within my price range which also includes a case to once I find one I like. The latter PSUs again look nice but are way to costly. The thing will most likely see more idle time then anything else. Which is why I'm pushing Win2k instead of XP. Hopefully everything will be nice and work.
