Can someone please recommend a good but affordable PSU for this system:

C2D E6400
Gigabyte DS3
eVGA 7900GT
Sound Blaster X-Fi
1 GB DDR2 memory
2 WD 10k Raptors
2 DVD burners

I'm looking to spend in the $50-75 range. I know eVGA requires the 7900GT card to have a 450w psu and 20amps on the 12v rail. Also, I don't plan to SLI with this machine...can't anyways. Thanks for your help!

How about the 580watt model for $17 more? I like the modular cable design on the Hiper PSU's. Is that the only thing good about them?

The Hiper Type R's are "ok" PSU's & are great bargains in the UK/EU,
however you can do much better in the US & Canada. ;)

Ok, so what 450-550w PSU has the best modular cabling and performance for the price. I saw your "Cheap but good PSU" list and the modular cables on those models aren't very good. Problems with cables being too stiff, not wrapped good enough, and connectors don't seat well. Ideally I want a good performing PSU but with good modular cable design.

I'm interested in a very similar PSU and would also like one with modular cable design.

I'll keep checkin back.
