I spent some time reading the faqs and while I'm certainly more knowledgeable about PSUs, I could still use some recommendations for my new setup as most of the recommended ones listed were older PSUs.
My new build includes:

EVGA 939 SLI board--Using a single 7800Gt for now, but I want to future-proof it for SLI
EVGA 7800GT
3800+X2 Dual core CPU
4X512mb PC3200 Memory for a total of 2GB
1X Maxline III SATA drive
1X DVD writer
2X80mm fans
1X 120mm fan
audio, lan, etc on-board

I'd love to pick up something for $100 or less, but I'll spend more if it's needed.
Thanks in advance for any assistance all,
Gatcha~

I'm looking for something with at least 34A on the 12V rail for you.

Not easy with a $100 budget. ;)

EDIT: Either The Xclio 550BL or the FSP550 is all you need and both of the come in at right under $100. If you want anything special like cool looking cables, etc. you're going to have to up the budget. ;)

Thanks for the fast response Johnny, I'll look at those two. I could consider upping the budget however.

What would you recommend in the under $150ish range?

Thanks,
Gatcha~

LOL! Me of all people should know not to look only at Newegg when shopping for a good price on a power supply. :D Thanks Dave!

My verdict is still out on those Sunbeams though. Two things....

One: It's combined 12V rail is only 30A continuous. That 34A is peak and I still don't think it's enough. Although for a PSU with 30A continuous on the 12V combined, it's a very good price for a power supply.

Two: Sunbeam has made PSUs with poor QC in the past. I think I'll wait for the long term effects on this one. Get some feedback from users that have had them for a while, etc.

Yeah... I know it's "SLI Certified" but the fact that nVidia lowered the standards so it would pass doesn't make me feel too warm and fuzzy with the SLI Certification process. Maybe if I get a chance to load one up and I can see a solid 12V for a half an hour straight with little to no fuctuation, Ill give it a thumbs up. Until then.......

Jason tested one, but I would love to see you put one through its paces! ;)

Did Jason keep his? He's more than welcome to send it down to me! :D
