I couldn't add a poll to my old thread, so I am just making this one:

My current router is getting pretty old, and I am in the market for a new one.

My house is about 3000SqFt. My modem is in the top floor, and in the corner, and it can not be moved. So I would need full coverage around my house, and a little outside.

Please choose which router will be the best.

Thank You

I have the WNDR3700 and it kicks ass. But only for wired connections and wireless that is somewhat close. Its wireless range is not so good with its anteneas being internal.

warning on the dir-825 make sure you get the 2nd revision which has a better processor.

I voted other, sorry not a consumer brand router type of guy. I only use Cisco or pfsense, untangle, etc.

but a non wireless router, then run cat 5 to 2 locations in the house, and setup 2 WAP's.

then be done with it.!

3700 is a great router!
If in doubt, compare the routers you're considering at smallnetbuilder.
