Recommend me a new case

So the cheap-o no-name case that I'm using is in awful condition. Its crowded inside and the sidepanel doesn't fit from a botched attempt to Dremel a hole for a sidevent. So I think its time for me to get a new one.

I need some recommendations for a quality case that's not terribly expensive. I'd like it to have plenty of inside room for hard drives. In fact, a case that makes adding and removing hard drives is my number one priority. Everything else is secondary. I'd like it to have a sidevent to keep things cool inside. Lots of fans are nice, but not neccessary.

It doesn't have to look gorgeous, have a side window or other eye candy. Ideally it would cost about $100, give or take a bit.

Any suggestions?

Hmm...I can't think of one right now, but it sounds like you want a case with really easy access to harddrives huh?

Got comp specs (particularlly how many hard drives you have?)

Let me do some quick research while you wait...

At the moment I have two DVD/CDs and five hard drives. I tend to buy hard drives instead of deleting stuff*, and I'm going to want to do some kinda RAID funkiness so that number will definitely be increasing.

ok ok so Lian Li > TT therefore buy a lian li v1000. there are some great computational fluid dynamics studies on it available and it has great stock cooling potential.

that price rang is a lil rough to work with. i know the lian li v2000 has a ton of room and holds 12 hds i think the v1000 holds 6 and the they are very easy to move in and out of the case. here is a pick so you can see

Thats a tough one. As people have recommended, you might (or will) need to increase your price cap to accomidate all of that. A V1000 is a start, but since you're adding than upgrading the old hard drives, maybe a V2000 (despite the price of 245-300 USD) or even a CM Stacker (149-165 USD) might fit the bill

i seen a v2000 go for around 180 -210 used if you looking for one you can find them
