Recommend Me A Lian Li!

So here's the deal, I ordered a V600B not knowing there was a definite cripple on the cpu cooler. I got fed up with it so I'm now returning the v600 back to the egg. Now I'm not quite sure what case I want.. all I know is that I want a Lian Li. I did like the quality of the v600b and decided to stick with lian li. So recommend me some lian li cases! Price isn't an issue.

Requirements:

*Compatible with big cpu coolers (i dunno let's shoot for a height of 94mm - 142mm)

... o I guess that's my only requirement lol.

Additional Information:

I don't mind windows or anything like that and air flow would be a bonus for me. I currently only have one combo drive on hand to place in the case.. and I think that's all I'll need.. I might like a fan controller or multimedia lcd on the front at some point. As for hard drives... I'll be using either one or two raptors.

Parts to go in case:

CPU: FX60
MOBO: A8N32-sli
RAM: 1GB (2x 512) Crucial Ballistix

take a look at the
LIAN LI PC-V2100BPlus II and LIAN LI PC-V2000BPlus II
 
Dang.. that's a full tower case. I don't think I'd ever use all the drive bays. Looking for more of a Mid Tower.
 
I have the V2000B Plus II being delivered tomorrow. If this case doesn't handle anything you can throw at it, such a case does not exist.

I don't care for front doors so that's why I prefer the V2000.

In case you didn't add them up, the V2000B Plus II can hold TWENTY drives. twelve 3.5's, six 5.25's and two 3.5 external accessible.

If you wanted a v600, then definately switch to the PC-A05, it's only 1cm taller than the v600 but has superior cooling and internal layout.

:) Oh and try and get silver, someone has to!
 
How has anyone not said the V1000/B? Its essentially the same case as the V600/B but a mid tower. Same as the TC, I am not a big fan of full towers and the V1000 hits the sweet spot in terms of looks and size.

Agreed. If you like the styling of the V600, and price is no issue, you should definitely consider the V1000.
 
I got my heart set on one of these PC-A05 after seeing the thread on it. I liked the size of the v600 so I think this will work. I probably would of gotten the v1000 if I had more things to put in it (hard drives & pretty lights).
 
what's with all these cases with a billion bay drives... i don't want that many! Yup, gunna get the PC-A05B ... i like the simplistic design
 
I love the A05, and the A10, and the V1000, and the pc60..........

ya just can't go wrong no matter what.

Always a good choice, just ordered mine though it'll be 3 weeks whilst the modifications I requested are done.

Oh yes, no plain vanilla case with a window for me!
 
i dont like the PC-A05 its very small and only has 1 rear exhuast fan.
go with w/e u want tho.

:) No, it has a rear INTAKE fan, which can make a big difference in some desktop setups (e.g. ones where ppl like to put their PC v. near to a wall) and it's small size is again a selling feature for people who have cramped living spaces.

Anyhow, at the end of the day, if we all agreed on one case design, everyone else would go out of business :)
 
i get paid tonight so I got until tomorrow to decide on a case.
 
I have a V1000 plus, an A-05B and I used to have a PC-60 Plus all of which are great cases. Would be great if the V1000 had a removable mobo tray however and the A-05 needs easier access to the front fan.
 
I love my V1000 case. Had to add the side fan and window myself tho but you can't go wrong with it imho...:p
