Im going to be getting a 2nd 8800GTX so I can get 2 more monitors, and I doubt my current PSU (600W OCZ) will handle it.

My current setup:
QX6700
8800GTX
6 HDs (4 for array, 1 boot, 1 backup)
2GB ram

WIll a 700W PSU work? or do I need to go 850?

What would you recommend?

I think the Silverstone Olympia 1000 would be a good choice for 2 of those cards.

What's your budget?

Silverstone Olympia 650 should do it

Well, I dont wanna spend $300 on a kW PSU... its a waste.

The 650W is only 50W more than what I already have... is there a point?

Yeah, but paying 1000 bucks for a quad-core could also be considered a waste. Your parts are worth so much that I would not go cheap on a PSU.

Naw, I do a lot of video rendering, so its not a waste.

I wasnt saying I want to buy a cheap PSU, Im just saying, I dont see the point of paying for a kW when its not needed.
