I'm looking to move up from my old CRT to a nice large LCD... with DVI of course, to prevent early obsolescence...

Currently I have 2 desktops connected to my monitor via a cheap VGA+PS2 KVM… Both have DVI, so when I upgrade to the LCD, I’d like to still be able to switch between them.

However when I search for DVI KVMs, I find them to be REALLY expensive ($200-300 + cost of cables)... my current cheapie AGP KVM only set me back ~$30 and it works perfectly... why the hell is DVI so much more expensive?

Can someone suggest a decent DVI KVM that won’t cost more than an LCD monitor??

Of those links, one doesn't have any responses at all, and two don't have any recommendations.
