I don't know if this is the right section but I am looking for recommendations on a good desk. I am thinking of getting a large l shaped glass desk which can hopefully handle 3 wide lcd monitors and a 5.1 system. Any other suggestions?

The desk I currently have in mind is the glass l shaped zline at staples

Any comments on how a glass desk is like in real world usage? I know that dust can easily accumulate on it and is easily seen.

Suggestions on other desks would be great too. I know a lot of people on here like the Ikea jerkers which are out of production.

Why not just build one to meet your needs. That is what I am planing on doin whenever I figure out what I want and need.

An L-shaped desk would have the advantage of only requiring a single speaker stand to properly use a 5.1 setup.

Depending on how big your screens are and the arrangement you want, you may need a pretty wide desk. Before I purchased this 4.5 ft wide desk (which I could recommend), I considered the Balt 72'' split level workstation. The height adjustments were compelling but I didn't have 6 feet of wall space to work with.

I agree with zmhaha, Office Depot has some good desks for a good price. Personally I cant stand glass desks because they show to much wires and leave fingerprints pretty easily. I went with a big wooden desk from Office Depot.

I think he probably bought a desk already, its been 3 months...

never go glass. I made the mistake of buying a black glass desk, it looks nice, but you gotta clean it everyday.

(for people looking at this thread.)
