So i just built new I7 rig and can not decide on a case to put it in. For now it is stuck inside a no name case i happened to have. need something that will mount my H50 well, I will have 4 more harddrives to put in soon so i will need 6 3.5in slots plus 2 2.5in slots for my SSD's. I am thinking about watercooling the GTX 480s but if the case will keep them around 90'c i will be happy with that. The one i am using has the worst cooling i have ever seen. I'll post pics when i get home. I like the Silverstone raven's layout but damn is it ugly (i like the lian li look)

This is what will need to fit.

Asus Rampage III
2 x 2.5in SSD's
6 x 3.5in Harddrives
2 x GTX 480
DVD drive (i never use more than one)
a corsair HX1000

E-ATX Lian Lis like PC-A70F and PC-A77 would house those parts easily.
(you can put two SSDs into place of one 3.5" HDD slot with adapter)

Okay two comments..

1) With SSD's you can stick them anywhere. You could actually buy some velcro tape and stick it to part of your case. They are fairly heat proof.. That still leaves 6 3.5's... But that's alot more manageable.

2) f you don't like that plan - one thing you can do as well is get those 3 - 5.25" bay converters and convert excess bays too 3.5" internal HD bays. Lian Li makes a nice one with a fan. But look wise you probably want to get a Lian Li case.. But I think other companies make them too..
So this means you could buy a midtower - like say a P183, Antec 900, Lian Li Armorsuit (50)? etc etc.

look at the coolermaster HAF932 will give you room for any VGA card and is great for water cooling. just read any review on this case.

My choice would be the Silverstone FT-02 but you say you have to have 6 3.5" hard drives and it only has trays for 5. If you can lose a hard drive that would be the case I'd be looking into for cooling your graphics card unless your for sure planning on going watercooling.

Okay, by the way this thread is going, I'm assuming you don't really have a budget. It all depends on what you want to do more then. If you're going the water route, a Corsair 800D would really be the best, and most people who has one use the H50 with it as well. It's only got 6 hard drive bays, but like another person has mentioned above, SSDs can be put anywhere, or you can get a bay converter for them. Also, I think this case has the best cable management hands down, and the large window really shows off your build very well.

If you air cooling, I think the Silverstone FT02 or the CM HAF-X will both serve you well. Both are aircooling monsters and should fit all those hard drives if you can fit both SSDs in one bay or stick them in a 5.25" bay. I don't really see the point of recommending the lesser HAF cases anymore now that the HAF-X is out, unless price is an issue or if you want a mid tower.

Then again, the Lian Li full towers are all great cases, and they have a good variety depending on the style that you like. The PC-P80 is a monster w/ its 10 pci slots, and the A70 series are just as great, and all of them have spots for like 10 hard drives. Though they are more of a mix in between the Corsair and the Silverstone/CM, being good at both WC or AC, but not as great as either in their perspective specialties.
