Recommend me a case which keeps temperature LOW

So what case do you recommend me which would keep the internal temperatures at the minimum? Budge is no constrain neither is the size though a large case is preferred.
Another question, is it true that a single blow hole is extremely important in keeping the temperatures down?

Edit: I'm talking about air cooling.
 
At night (when ambient temps are in the 60's) my X2 4200 runs at 22-24c idle... harddrives hang out around 28c...

Antec 900... But I bet there's better cases...
 
If you're talking about air cooling, then the Antec 900 would be your best bet...

but if budget is no concern... what about a SSTJ07 or 9?
 
Good fans also play a very important role in keeping a computer cool.
 
I have a 900, if all the fans are up on high it's purrrty loud, but with headphones it's fine.
 
or a p180, you can add a total of 4 fans to the front for intake or more if you wanted. I've also seen someone mod his upper 120mm fan to a 200mm fan like the 900.

i have 4 in the front, 1 in the lower section for my psu, 1 up top, 1 in rear.

overall i am very happy with the p180b. I'm not into the whole gamer cases anymore like the 900. The blue lights and side window is a little too much for me. The p180 has a clean slick look which is more attractive IMO. The new revised edition makes it easy for you to water cool inside if you wanted to go that route for even lower temps. But if you want that gamer look, you can still make it happen, check out some of the mods people have done in the p180 section. And if you have a roomate who sneaks on your computer while you aren't home, the p180 has a lock on the front he can't turn it on :). But those are my thoughts on the whole p180 vs 900.
 
An antec p190 or Silverstone TJ-09 are probably the best, unless you get one of those horrifying stackers and just fill the side panel with fans.
 
My temps are pretty darn low in my case (especially considering my case is sitting right next to my window in my room in the dawg days of heat in TEXAS). My modded Thermaltake Shark case...

(1) 120mm intake fan
(1) 120mm exhaust fan
(2) 120mm CPU/Motherboard/System/RAM/NB fans

I have recently found out about the akasa mirage. What do you think of it? In some test done, it faired better than coolermaster 830 :eek:.

Anyone had experience with this case and how does it compare with the arctic p190 and Antec 900?

Then why are you asking for a case that has great cooling? Makes no sense to me, and considering those deltas are $35 a pop you would be better off buy a more expensive case with cheaper fans.

And I would give you 5 mins with those fans and you will not want to hear one again.

And for case....Well anything with a 120mm intake and exhaust.

For the 900.... small and ugly as hell.
 
i'm also looking for a well cooled case, but one made of aluminum so its ligher. How is the lian li A05? i see A16 mentioned.. how do they compare? don't have budget for the TJ09

Btw, in case you forgot, I stated clearly that budget is not and issue so I don't mind 10 $50fans nor a $800 case. However, I do not want to buy a water cooling as I don't really trust them with today's tecnology, nor do i want to buy multiple computers. I just want to get a really cool system and get oc it. Basiclly get done and over with a system and do hard-core gaming.

My computer will be in a separate sound-prove room (blocks out 60dB) with a hole in the wall for wires to pass through. So give me 1year and i will still stick with these fans.
 
Ok well since you have it figured out young one why you asking us questions? The difference between a $5 and a $1000 case is nothing when you have expensive high cfm fans in them.
Only looks would be different, and then it means nothing when you have it in a sound proof room all to its own.
And I also wonder how it is that you have a "sound proof" room and need out help with a case.

I have also taken a look at the threads that you have started.
You are completely new to computers, and know nothing you want us to give you the answers, its all about preference.
 
Why don't you trust water cooling? Lots of people have it, in fact I've seen more computers wrecked by overly heavy air coolers than by water :p
 
Here is a case for you.. buy a billion dollar wind tunnel from Boeing. Just try and make sure its not pushed so high it blows your computer apart.
 
This kid is not getting a computer, he is just wasting our time. Over in the Via forums he was asking whats the best cpu for $300, he knew nothing. The fans....Picked that up in the cooling section, check his threads and posts.
 
I like the Lian-Li a lot, but I have the Coolermaster Stacker. My fans:

120mm in front of my 3 hard drives
120mm in rear
300mm crossflow across my entire motherboard

QFT.

I was going to suggest one of the original Stackers. You can get a LOT of airflow with them, though I really hate the 80mm top exhaust, I definitely suggest making it a 120.

The maximum for the Stacker 810(which I would suggest for pure air flow)
3x120mm Intake, 80mm top, 2 x120 rear, not to mention the bottom of the case is one big vent which brings in cold air. Also the fan crossflow fan can be attached, which makes some big air go across your motherboard and other parts.
 
ya i removed my top fan long ago. my system is super cool with only 2 120mm fans, 1 front, 1 rear. plus the crossflow of course.
 
I would say go with the Antec 900. That's a good air cooling case for a great price. Good intakes and exhaust. Only crappy thing is the big large fan on the top. Just hope that doesn't go screwy on you because you'll have to wait for a replacement.
 
Man, that Coolermaster case is NICE! I own (3) Centurion 5 Coolermaster cases.. I could mod that new coolermaster case just a little and it would TOTALLY kick some bewtee.
 
What is your opinion on phase change? Better than watercooling with no water.
