Recommend Gskill ram to go with ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3

I'm building a new budget priced i5-2500k rig from newegg.

Is 4GB (2x2) sufficient for gaming and light multitasking ?

So 240 pin DDR-3 1333 speed is what I want ? I see 10600 and 10666. What about latency, is 9-9-9-24 good enough ?

I just ordered me this. It's going to be used in my next build. I'm going to put it together piece by piece. I'm even interested in AMD's Bulldozer. Right now I'm leaning toward Intel's SB.

Yeah that's a bummer, it's still in my cart from yesterday, but the price went up.

I know it's dirt cheap but I'm already running over budget by spending a little more than i planned on the other components. Is 8GB really necessary ? It seems like overkill for running a web browser and playing games.

It's personal reference if you ask me. I would like for someone to chime in and maybe they could tell us the difference. I'm no expert but at $40 for 8GB of DDR3 ram from G-Skill is a smoking deal.

And for me I'll be either building an Intel SB or AMD BD over the next few months so I thought it might be a good idea to have my ram in my hands. Still need a CPU and a mobo!

There's nothing wrong with 8GB of RAM. The more, the merrier. These days RAM is so cheap, why wouldn't you max out the RAM just for the heck of it (supposing you have a 64-bit OS)?
