alright so im thinking about getting my 3200+ wet, as my current cooling sucks horribly. so i figure i could ask the [H]ard for advice. Can anyone reccomend a good watercooling friendly case(doesnt require the saw-zall treatment). my only requirements is room for a 2x120 rad somewhere, and be BTX(inverted mobo). window is prefered but not required. RIG IN SIG, budget, $300 is the limit

System specs would be nice to know as well as your budget.
Lian-Li V2000 works very well and there is one for sale, pre-modded with Rad in the F/S forum

Lian Li v1000/1200/2000 :D The window on the 1000 looks really cool IMO, isolates the PSU/HDD area from sight and follow the lines of the case :D

Its about the only one i know of that fits the bill lmao

I like the old pc-6 series of lian li's. Simple, effective, clean. the pc6077 does an especially nice job of watercooling.

Thermaltake Armor and Coolermaster Stacker. I know the Stacker can be converted to BTX easily, not sure about the Armor but I believe so. One of the 2 is what I'll end up getting although I'm leaning towards the Armor since it has a window, and I don't know if I could stand not seeing the loop aesthetically and diagnostically.

Can the Lian Li be BTX? If not, they don't fit the bill. :(

I have a Thermaltake Armor, which has a BTX option and is very easy to put a water-cooled setup in.

The Coolermaster Stacker is quite similar in this respect, but I am not sure if it can be BTX.

BTW, this is a pix of the inside. ATX MB, tho. My wire management sucks, partly because I have too much junk in there. Since this pix was taken, I have sleeved many of the power leads, which does help some.

Any Lian-Li V-2xxx or V-12xx series cases are great. Another fantastic case is the Lian-Li PC-7x series cases as there is room to put anything in that case. Even works to smuggle kids across the border from what I hear. ;)

Thanks for all of the fast responses. im leaning towards the cadilac style v2000, nice and big and room for all of my crap.(only 3in. longer than my old one.) anyone got pics of one watercooled for some ideas?

Gigabyte 3D Aurora, it has 2 120mm fans on the rear, perfect for bolting a big rad to, and comes from the factory with water cooling grommets on the back. No modification needed. You should even be able to mount a MCP-655 pump on it's side in the hard drive cage and run the tubing thru the holes in the cage.

Oh yeah, and I bought one myself to use for building a water cooled rig :D.

the aerocool masstige is a great case and theres a modded silverstone TJ06 for sale in the fs forum

What are those white connector things in the middle of your tubing?

They are quick-connect tees. I have Crystalfontz temp sensors mounted in them The black thing just downstream is a Swissflow flow meter.

The whole setup is controlled by 2 separate Crystalfontz fan controllers. One for the water and one for the case fans.

Very QUIET!

I have both a Stacker and a LLv2K.
The Stacker wins hands down for ease of loop installation.

This may or may not be what you are looking for, but Koolance sells this case premod'd with an exos2 cooling system. By all accounts, this is a lovely water cooling system. Sure you *could* do better, but why go to all that hassle?

I'm waiting for one of these to arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to get it. See this thread for a comparo of installing your own wc gear in a lial li v1000 and the koolance modified version. I think you'll agree that the Koolance version is a *much* cleaner install. And the performance is impressive. Heh, only problem is, the price is impressive too... But then, think about all you are getting for your money. Good deal, I say.
