I'm looking for recommendations for a videocard in my son's system. CPU is an i3. Plays Cysis, DC Universe Online, Call of Duty Black Ops. Doesn't have to be at really high res. Not sure what newer games he'd want it to be able to do. Not opposed to buying used. Appreciate any help.

a used GTX 460 should do well, not sure you can get one for under $100

You can get a used radeon 5770 or a 6770 for about 80 bucks. They are basically the same card.

A used card would really be the best solution. As said previously a 5770 or a 6770 and maybe xfire if you can later on.

$100-ish, less if possible.
This is 100-ish after rebate.

A bit more can get you the dual fan OC version. Rebate deal also.

Nuclear option:

This is the Nvidia equivalent to the HD 7770 (probably consumes more power, can't find any reviews to know for sure) it also has a rebate
