Recommend best Ram sinks

I got some Mushkin DDR500 and the stock paper-thin aluminum ramsinks just dont quite cut it, especially cause I dont have the greatest air flow directly on them, please recommend me the best ramsinks for my ram Thanks in advance guys

While it may not look great, if you can find some old 1U heatsinks and hack them up they would be extremely cheap and perform well.

I have never understood the point of heatspreaders on RAM. My memory doen't even feel warm..

For most people it never gets warm. As per the design of DDR it's never meant to even require anything but a little airflow. But with people pushing things I guess it gets warm...

My Crucial Ballistix PC3200 burns my fingers when I touch it if I push it to 280MHz(2.85v).

my memory runs HOTTER with heat spreaders then without them.. i used to touch the heat spreader and it be almost hot.. but i touch the individual chips and dont feel any heat.. go fig

DDR is designed to just have the air flow and it will be fine. Heat spreaders often inhibit this with this thermal tape or just plain bad conduction. Bare ram is usually the best, heatspreaders aren't usually that good.
