It's time to rethink that all-important piece of hardware, one's man-blade! I'm tired of scraping my face off with this Mach 3 piece of shit. It's time for an electric razor.

Specifically, I'm thinking of getting the kind that splooges gel all over your face. If you guys have any particular recommendations, I would love to heard them.

I have an oldish remington microscreen that I inherited from my grandfather a few years ago, works just fine. I like it better than my dads old norelco rotary one. The biggest problem I have with electric razors though is that it takes multiple passes to actually cut all the hair, I guess that is one reason why I have always wanted to get one of those fancy Braun razors where the head moves back and forth. I figure if the razor moves then I would have to move the razor less in order to cut all the hair.

Real men use tweezers. :p

Nah, I'm stuck with a Shick Xtreme 3, and it's terrible. It takes multiple passes to get everything, too, so going electric wouldn't bother me, and it would prevent razor burn if I happen to go over an area with no shaving cream.

Haha. I can't believe you said that.

Anyway, I've had my eye on Braun's self-cleaning shavers just 'cause they're flashy and the nerd in me likes flashy electronics with neat features to promote laziness. I don't think they self-gel your face, but I like using Edge gel with aloe and such anyway.

i've got that norelco advantage thing that ejaculates lotion on your face, its nice, i tend to wait 3 or 4 days till i shave and its bogs down like trying to cut down a forest with a weed-wacker. I still use the good ol' mach 3 90% of the time.

LOL!!!.. that's just wrong....

have you tried the quatro?
hey isn't this my thread in Genmay? i just got the shick quatro it hurts cause i'm a sensitive guy but it does get my skin a lot smoother because stuff doesn't get stuck in the blades.

Manual razors just irritate the hell out of my face. I was wondering if anyone had experience with an electric that is easy on the skin.

I am still using my Braun 5315 that I have had for around 7 years. Use some Lectric-Shave beforehand and then use a good aftershave lotion afterwards. I am going to go to the 8595 soon since that battery in mine is going. I have heard nothing but good things about them. And they have an LCD!

1: Propane torch
2:Old time single edge razor & strap
3: Glass  :D
I guess this is general {H}ardware

Mod Edit - I guess not. General[M]ayhem, yes, but not G[H]. Thanks - B.B.S.
