Recommend a hsf

XP90 or XP120 has my vote. I would have gotton an XP120 but it doesn't fit on my mobo, so I went with the SI-97.
 
thermalright. however check on thermalright.com if your mobo supports xp-120, as it is very big.

but tell me what are your temps, at idle and under load?

If you are going to buy the xp-120 keep me updated of whats happening, coz id like to buy it too but I don't know if it would fit my case..

I feel the Thermaltake Pipe101 is far better then the xp-90. And yes I have both HS. My idle temps between the two make the choice easy.

Pipe101: Idle:34 load:48
XP-90: Ilde:40 load:55
 
I have the stock heatsink w/ fan and at IDLE it's at 40degrees,
so if you got at 40 degrees at IDLE with the xp-90, then
Passive, a new heatsink might not solve your problem..

At the begining my computer would shut down after 30 seconds;temps were at 100 degrees...but then I cleaned out intel's thermal paste that was on the hatsink, and I applied some new myself..and it fixed the problem.I get 40 degrees at IDLE and under load it goes into the sixties..(still a bit high..but it is kinda normal for a Prescott cpu)

So Passive, I'd highly recommend to try it. Clean out intel's thermal paste and buy some and apply it on the processor. Check on the web for the proper way to do so.
 
Thanks im gonna try that. Just about everytime i bring up my heatsink, or fans, or anything regarding cooling, i hear that i should re appply some thermal paste. Il give i ta shot and let you guys know...
