Im using an opty 165 in a DFI RS482 with stock heatsink. It is overclocked to 2.6ghz stock volts and is prime stable. But the temps are high. 40c idle and 55c load. I need a good heatsink that will fit in a qpack.
I tried the zalman 7700 and it is ok but it made my biostar tforce unuseble because the screws in the heatsink will not turn. So the 7700 is out of the question. I hear that the zalman 8000 blocks ram slots.
So is there any other heatsink that will cool my opty 165 better than the stock heatpipe cooler? Im just uncomfortable with the temps
