recommend a 500 watt PSU

The corsair is a great PSU. You shop around and check out the hotdeals forum it can be had for less then a hundred. But the Xclio is a steal for the price.

what do you not like about the Antec I listed? I appreciate all your input. :D

I guess my question is how do you determine what is a good quality quiet PSU???? obviously a $9.99 500watt unit is going to be junk. but I don't want to pay $160 just to try to get good power.

Quality problems.

Known use of temp-sensitive caps & not enough air flow for cooling, due to "quiet" fan.

If you get this low-end Antec, make sure you have plenty of intake fans to create positive pressure to cool this PSU.

Good Choice I love my HX520.

As for antec. My 430 watt Truepower 2.0 gave out after a year and half of hard use. The 400 watt Smartpower 2.0 Is less then a year old and my fans started pulsing in my sever the other day so I think that is on its way out too.
 
The corsair 520HX is really the best. It can power so much stuff with ease and provides very clean power in all the reviews I have seen.
 
How about buying my Antec SP-450, its almost 500w, and I want to get rid of it before it blows up. :D
