recommend a 19' CRT

I just switched to a Sony Trinitron Multiscan G400 19in. crt and love it, but I bought it at a computer show and paid only $55 with 6months warranty. I would go with Trinitron CRT's they are the best monitors out there. May be a little more expensive but worth the money IMO.

Personaly I would look for a Trintron / Apreture grille based monitor as they offer a brighter / crisper picture over Shadow Mask based CRTs. Ive had my 21" Sony G520P for 2 years and have no complaints (bought from newegg.com), of course the problem is finding them nowadays
I've heard this site is reliable but ive never ordered from them myself:

If all else fails the monitors you listed seem pretty decent from all the positive user reviews.

I have a 17 inch .2 dot pitch samsung....and its amazing. I wish I woulda gotten the extra couple inches, but wow. So sharp. IMHO

If you can find one the Mistubishi Diamond Pro 930SB is the best of the best

Yup, best one right there. I have the NEC MultiSync FP912SB which is the same monitor with a NEC logo instead. Was like $50 less when I bought compared to the Mistu
