Recomend me a video card

I was hoping someone out there could recommend me a video card. I have a ASUS a7a266 Motherboard, and am looking for a video card that will work well with this motherboard and not cause problems. Either a ATI or Nvidia. I have a 9800 Pro card in it an it took a dump. Also I am running a 350w power supply with one hard drive and 2 cd drives so I am not sure what power requirements I will need also. I am just trying to get the best performance I can. I have a xp1600 processor in it now. And with the 9800 pro I got a 3dmark 2001 score of 10,000. I want equal or better performance. Thanks for any input anyone can give me.
 
You might want to look in the 6600 range, that is a 6600GT. If you want to take the leap, just go ahead and get a 7800GTX.
 
A 7800 GTX will not be fed fast enough by a 1600+ XP processor.
Do not go above a 6800 please.

I would also suggest the 6600 GT as a great buy for you.
 
I have a 6600GT (bought in May) and I would rather have a 6800GT or an X800XL, maybe even a the next generation card, but that is getting very expensive.

I can't overclock because of heat issues and a weak PSU (like yours, maybe you should think about upgrading) but I hear that an OC'd 6600GT is wicked, you can't beat that for $150.

yea thats what every one says and its becouse its a great card i think theres a PNY on newegg for 129 after rebate
