recomend me a reciever...

i need a reciever, nothing special, but i would like to be able to connect my klipsch 5.1 ultras sub up to it, by spliceing into the channel on the klipsches sub for the center/sub channel.
is this possible?
what reciever should i get to do this?

I edited the title for you..... but I did not correct the spelling.

To patch your PC speakers into a receiver you simply connect them to the line out/ tape out and away you go.
As you can imagine feeding a stereo only source to said speakers won't exactly be the cat's meow but it will provide you an easy way to accomplish what you seek.

He means, how can he hook only the sub woofer up to the amp I think and then hook the actual satelite speakers into the amplifed outputs on the reciever.

I'm not an expert on this stuff but I think you can do this (so long as your reciever supports the impedance rating on the speakers). To hook the subwoof in you could likely just use the sub woofer line output on the reciever and then just run it into the back of the SUB (using the onboard amp) and then just control the sub volume on the orriginal unit.

The other option could be to wire the amp directly to the sub woofer but from what I understand most people reccomend powering a sub woofer from it's own amp, separate from the reciever.

I can't reccomend a particular reciever but search for one that has 5.1 surround sound ouputs (so you have ouputs for all your speakers as well as your sub woofer.). Then decide how you wish to plug it into your computer (would you like to use Coaxial digital? Or are you OK with just using the 6 RCA connectors (would be terminated on the other end with the headphone connectors that plug directly into your sound card on your computer).
