I have a 100 to spend it needs to be a SATA because well for some reason my comp does not like IDE drives. Would like 200 or better but if that is to much to expect for a 100 just let me know. Open to any thing thank you.

If there is a Fry's local to your or you can order from Outpost; and can handle a rebate, You might be able to swing a 300GB SATA Seagate for $99 after rebate, follow the [H]ot|Deals forum and your local ads.

If that won't work for you, http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100713-4 is a solid choice. ZZF also carries 16MB buffer versions of this drive, but they are not in stock right now.

300GB SATA for $99? Sounds perfect! I'm leaving a good solid rig instead of my OC'ed beast for my parents when I go off to college, and just having a 74GB OS Raptor and 300GB storage drive sounds perfect. :)
