Recomend a cheap 17" LCD

Hi guys,
I need to buy a cheap 17" LCD to a friend. He doesn't really have much requests for it, but still I don't wanna buy him a crappy screen. What should I look for? Which model, and if I don't need awesome performance, what SHOULD I need in a cheap LCD?

He has analog graphic output, but still I would prefer DVI screen because he probably will change his computer in 6 - 12 months.

Those E* are rebadged ancient Viewsonics. Don't get them.

Keep in mind though, like the 1907FP, you need to win the Samsung lottery. If you get an AU Optronics panel it is not so good either. But at CAD$219 when I bought it, nothing comes close with DVI input.

Anyway, the next Dell coupon should not be too far away, so if you don't need to have it now, you can just wait it out. :)
