I have recently (within the last 2-3 days) noticed that my video card is starting to make loud noises randomly while my computer is running. About 2-3 months ago I installed an Intel X-25M SSD in my system and noticed that after doing so, on startup, my video card would make an unusually loud noise as if the fan was at 100% (which was something that I never noticed happening until the SSD was installed), and it would last for about 2 minutes or so while the system was running until the noise stopped. I did a little googling and found that it wasn't abnormal for the fan to be loud on startup so I figured what the hell.
But now that the card is starting to randomly get loud and then become significantly less loud every so often I am starting to worry. Does anyone have any feedback on why this might be happening, or what might be happening?

Thanks

Btw, the card info if anyone missed the title of the thread:

Yea. I get this every few months with my 4890. A good dusting usually reveals tons of clogging on the fan.

Sweet. Quickly popped it out and gave it a little dusting. Appreciate the tip. Thanks.

Yea cleaning is important. My 4870's fan totally crapped out about 3 months ago. Burning smell and loud screeching noise. Think I was playing SC2 at the time heh.
