Recent Fan Failure

On Thursday night I was playing games on my computer and I started to smell something funny. It smelled like burning plastic and I figured out that it was coming from my case. I immediately turned the computer off, unplugged everything and let it sit for 2 days (I was at a hockey tournament Friday-Sunday afternoon). So I get home Sunday afternoon, plug everything back in and try to boot it up. The first thing I see on the screen when I boot up is a message saying:

Recent fan failure. Press F1 to continue or F2 to go to setup.

I try to press the buttons on my keyboard but they don't work, then I start to smell that burning smell again. I turn the computer off and once again unplug everything and now I am here. I'm not very experienced with this kind of stuff and I assume from the error message that I have a broken fan. If this is the problem, how do I go about getting/installing a new fan? If you don't think the fan is the problem, please help me solve it. Thnx in advance.

I actually did that and I don't see anything thats burnt. I may be overlooking something though.

Check all the fan wires to make sure they aren't burnt, it sounds to me like one of your fans (cpu prolly) died, getting a new one is no sweat, just figure out what size you need and which one died.
