I'm just looking to get an inexpensive headset that won't hurt my ears after a long gaming session. I'm currently using a set of $5 radioshack headphones.
 
go to your local audio shops and look for the Sennheiser HD497. See how it sounds and if you like the way it feels. Its about 50$us.

I was looking for good headsets, not headphones, but I appreciate the suggestion.
I'm looking to get a headset for bf2. Do you know if the sennheiser gaming headsets are any good? The pc150 looked pretty good, but how much of a difference is there between these and for example, the plantronics audio 90, or an inexpensive logitech headset.
 
I have the sennheiser hd457 they are nice too, particularly if you wear glasses.
