Rebuilding my brother's computer...

For about a month, my brother's computer kept on restarting, most of the times randomly, other times when he tried to start a game. I thought maybe things were overheating, so I removed the heatsink, cleaned it, and applied some Arctic Silver 5. I also used a power supply tester to rule out that possibility, and the power checked out. After that, it stopped restarting for about a week, until is started restarting randomly even more than before. A week later, he went to turn it on, and it stopped POSTing. By the way, the case it is in is your "standard" aluminum Chieftec dragon, which I am modding in the mean-time his computer is down. I talked to my dad, and we decided it was probably time for an upgrade anyways. My brother had the Athlon XP machine in my signature. It's time to build him a more up-to-date gaming and multimedia machine. We're keeping the case, power supply, hard drives, burner, sound card, monitor, keyboard and mouse. Thanks. By the way, does anyone have any info on the RAM? It seems like a steal to me, but I just wanted to check with people who have experience with it.
