Hey guys, Is there any way to rearrange all the entries in your start menu without screwing up the uninstall/registry info? I don't like it when my start menu gets too loaded, and I tried separating everything up before, but loads of problems came up at the time to uninstall or clean up the registry. Any ideas or programs that can help? I'm using XP Pro. Thanks guys!

right click on the start button and click properties. tweak it to your hearts content!

The start menu isn't really linked to the uninstall info, it's just a bunch of folders and pointers. The only thing you may want to be carefull of is some crappy software will only put an uninstall link in the startmenu and not one in add/remove programs.

You can move the folders around in the start menu all you want.. When you uninstall something you have moved the startmenu shortcuts around for, the only thing extra you will have to do is manualy remove the shortcuts you moved.. Not a problem really..
