Rear Speakers Don't Work

Hey everybody, I recently came across an issue with my old Cambridge Soundworks DTT2200 5.1 system, the rear speakers refuse to work. The speakers have been in storage for the past few years, save for a few months when I let my mother borrow them. I'm not sure if the rear channel was working when she had them(She only used the front channels), but when I actually used them all the satellites worked fine.

Of course, I checked all the sound card settings(I have a SB Live 5.1 Platinum), everything is set to 5.1. I tried the rear speakers in the front port and they work perfectly, so it's not the speakers. Thinking it was the rear input jack(Black one), I replaced the small 3.5mm jack and it still doesn't work. When I ran the speaker test without the speakers hooked up, I realized I could hear the voice from the test through the subwoofer. But, once the test reaches the rear speakers the whole system gets quiet, or so I thought. When I cranked the volume all the way up, I could JUST barely hear the subwoofer.

I'm not quite sure what's going on here, I've tried the speakers on another computer that's capable of 5.1 audio and the rear speakers still refuse to work. It wouldn't be a huge deal if I had to trash them, being that the unit is nearly nine years old. But I'd hate to waste them if the issue is fixable.

Thanks

Plug the rear speaker L/R plug into the front L/R input on the sound card and see if you hear anything from the rear speakers.

Just switched the plugs in the back of the sound card and the speakers still don't work. Though, the subwoofer now "works" for the rear channels(But not with the front) in the test but doesn't output anything from the speakers. However when I move the speakers to the front channels they work perfectly.
