RealVNC EE, $50 per seat please?

I stumbled across this:

Granted, I like the features and they are needed for corp. installs, but is this the best way to make money? and how does this impact its GNU license.

Plus, the licenses are $50 per seat.

prices per seat are always more the less seats you buy

well I use (on a windows box) TightVNC with cygwin\openssh, and limit that port to specific IP traffic with Kerio

all freeware

as far as how it impacts the GNU, it doesnt, there is nothing to stop someone using GNU code as a basis for a sold product (Linux)
