Realtek Windows 7 driver causes BSOD at boot.

Is it the correct driver for that specific chip?
 
Have you tried downloading the drivers from your mobo's website?

I've just upgraded to Windows7 last night and didn't not experience the B.S.O.D.

Yes, I used the Vista version without problem.

Ah, thanks for reminding me about that. I just downloaded and installed the one from EVGA and it does not BSOD. It is just an earlier driver version from the manufacturer though. Realtek's newest driver for Vista works fine on this PC so it must be a new driver problem with Win7 and my motherboard or something.
