Hey guys,
I'm hoping you audio enthusiasts can help me out here. When playing WoW today, I noticed that I began to have some problems when it came to the sound. Here's the situation:
Motherboard is onboard Realtek HD Audio, and I make any changes within the mixer. Speaker setup is 5.1 Surround. When I go into the game, I turn my speakers off and use my headphones. The headphone audio jack was connected to the silver port, and specified that was head phone.
When I'm playing World of Warcraft, there are certain sound effects that I don't hear my system is trying to push those sounds through the center speaker. The only way I can hear said sounds is by changing my speaker setup so that it's just "Stereo", which shows a picture of 2 speakers. This means that every time I want to play with headphones, I have to change this setting back and forth.
Is there any way around this?
