Really worried about my purchase-

Got a VX2025 for £240 and it really killed my bank account. I dont want to make a bad purchase.

Im going from a 17inch TFT.

My worries-

- Should I have gone for a Dell 2001FP for the same price? It has more pixels and is a bigger screen.

- Im worried about dead pixels and backlight bleed.

- No 1:1 pixel mapping? What is this? I use my TFT for some movies, alot of gaming and photoshop.

- Screendoor effect? Again what is this?

- Have I wasted £130 (the cost of the upgrade when selling old monitor) on just a few inches on the side?

Replies would be great as Im regretting my purchase.
 
In all fairness, you've already made the purchase, so it's a little late to worry and early to have buyer's remorse. When you get it in, trust you eyes and not those of us out here on the [H]. You think it's the best monitor you every had, and in the end, that's what's important.
 
Sounds like you didn't do your research and just hopped on bandwagon. Consider this a lesson learned.
