Ok. My network is all on a Netgear Router / WAP, 802.11b, 100bt.
I have several computers on it, most have a folder shared called "downloads", and a folder shared called "dump".
Now, downloads is read-only, and dump has full access for anyone on the network (it's a place to dump files. I trust the network, so...)
Now, here's the strange thing. All computers can see each other, but my Laptop (emachines 6805) can't have anything copied FROM it. I can view the DL folder, and I can explore into it, but any time I try to copy a file out, I get an "Access denied." or In use error.
Now, the really odd thing is, I can dump files in the "dump" folder, and it can dump files in the other dump folders.
But, I can't take files from it. Wired, or wireless.
DHCP is working, they all have the right IP/etc. The main system is on Nvidia NF2 ethernet, the Laptop is on the VIA Rhine card (built in). WinXP Pro on one, Home on the other.
Any ideas? I've tried everything.
