Really, Really wierd Windows XP activation problem!

Okay I activated windows already, but my motherboard needed a bios update, so I updated it, well screwy windows then said I needed to activate, and I only have 180 Million Days or so left, what, I'm not even going to live that long!!!

Is the oobe telling you that you have that long? How are you getting a ton of days left? I've heard of this happening on volume license media, but not retail.

Fortinatly, I called Micro$oft and they helped me fix my problem, but it was strange, now I think I'll think twice before upgrading.
