really, really weird moniter issue

well, ever time at like the exact same time of nihgt (around 9:30 to 10:00), if i restart my computer, the moniter will not turn on, it keeps making clicking sounds, and every morning it works fine , could this be overheating from the whole day of work? it only happens if i restart the comp...

Your monitor is probably just upset that you aren't paying enough attention to it. Try giving the glass a good cleaning now and then. Also, I've found that positive reinforcement really helps. Tell it what a great job you think its doing.

Another thing you can try is tricking it into clicking by PRETENDING to shut down the computer. say something like "ok i'm going to shut my computer down now" and then make a motion like your going to turn the power off. Your monitor will get confused and try to make its clicking sounds, hoping for attention. when it does this, its important to beat it severely with a rubber hose so that it knows acting up like that is not acceptable.
