Really dumb question...

Ok, I am attempting my first complete mod from a crummy old case I have. Now I used my skill saw and cut a window in the side and top of the case. What I'd like to do now is put the plexiglass in, but what I need is the rubber tubing that goes around the window. I went out today looking for that stuff, and I realized that I have no clue where to go or what to ask for. The closest thing I could find was windshield wiper tubing, but I'd have to cut a slit down that by myself, and I can say right now it wouldn't be very straight.

Now my question is, without buying this online, where can I get this stuff locally. I live in a large city, so any chains like Canadian Tire or FutureShop are at my disposal.

Thanks a lot.

go to the auto section in canadian tire, there should be door molding, its like 2 or 3 bucks

wrap the edges in that and attach the plexi to the back of the panel, looks very clean

I got some molding at Canadian tire.
All sort of color are available.

I got 2x 3feet piece for 3.99$+tax

The molding that is used the online kits is car window molding. Go to an auto store and tell them you need rubber locking window molding. It might help to find a picture of it at one of the various online vendors and take that pic with you to show them what you mean.
