well, awhile ago i read that opening up a pci slot could reduce the temps of your video card. So i tried it, and my temps dropped by 8C... the only problem i have is that dust can easily get inside (but thats ok, because i clean my computer every week).. does anyone else do this?? and would u recommend it?
 
u mean like taking off the pci cover for your comp case? i had done that to mine a while back. i had taken a piece of hardware off the slot n got too lazy to put the cover back on. i didnt notice anything.. but im not sure. maybe others have
 
I have to bottom two removed now that you mention it, and I haven't noticed a temp drop.
 
so am i the only one noticing temp. change??? hmm... must be my case then or something...
