My system (same as sig)

Unlocked Barton 2500
Abit NF7-S revision 2.0
(2x512MB) PC2700 Corsair (2.5-3-3-7)
air cooling

I recently bumped the multiplier up to 12 and was able to play UT2k4 for several hours no problem.

My question is, with my current hardware, how far should I be able to OC my CPU without upgrading the Ram to 3200 or damaging my equipment?

Thanks

all cpus are different.... your pc2700 won't let you go past 333fsb too readily.. you might be able to do 170 or 175.. but your multi is unlocked.. so you can still up the cpu all you want..

you need to figure out your ram's limitations.. and then your cpu limitations seperately..

as far as sheer ghz... 2.2, 2.4, 2.5+ if you are lucky..

so are you at 12 x 166 ?.. that is about 2 ghz... keep going higher.. and watch your temps.. once you go over 60c back it down, or get better cooling... i see no problem with you trying to hit 2.2 ghz.. but you will probably need to up your vcore...
