Personally I wouldn't trust something like that. There's always the PicoPSU if you need a small DC-DC converter power supply. (though it passes 12V straight from the brick and then steps down to 5V and 3.3V from there)

Agreed. This thing will most certainly work, but the price advantage over reputable solutions like the picoPSU is not justified IMO because you can never know if it'll fry your 25x as expensive system...
